Attendance & Punctuality

Full attendance and good punctuality are expected of every student.

At St Michael and All Angels Academy every students’ attendance and punctuality is closely monitored through the pastoral care system.

Parents are requested to arrange any family holidays during school holidays only, as absences affect the progress and the confidence of students – and ultimately impact on their exam success at the end of their school career.

Punctuality is also an important part of self-discipline, and is essential to good time-management – a discipline which is particularly important for independent learning as students progress through the Year Groups towards their final exams.
