Building Strong Partnerships

The crucial role of parents, carers and families is welcomed and built upon, in a strong partnership between the Academy and families.

Parents and carers are seen as key Academy partners, involved closely with every aspect of Academy life to support their child’s education.

Parents/carers receive regular updates on their children’s progress. We hold Parents' Evenings for each Year Group, where parents/carers can discuss their son/daughter's progress, and special Information Evenings for parents of students moving from KS3 to KS4.

Communication with parents and carers is further strengthened through the Academy website and our Termly Newsletters and News bulletins.

Parental support is vital to all activities at the Academy and we actively encourage a strong working relationship with the families that join our Academy community.

Parents/carers are also welcome to become involved, and to participate in the life and work of the Academy.
